STEPPING STONES PLAYGROUP!

What we do

Stepping Stones Playgroup aims to encourage pre-school children to learn through play. We use  the Early Years Foundation Stage to provide a wide range of activities that will help children get ready for school. Children are encouraged to develop skills in:

  • Physical Development
  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development
  • Communication and Language

They then focus on specific areas:

  • Knowledge and Understanding of the World
  • Expressive Arts and Design
  • Maths
  • Literacy

When do we open?

Stepping Stones is open Monday 9.30 - 3.30 and Tuesday - Thursday 9.30 - 12.30 during termtime.

Funding & Fees

All 3 yr olds are eligible for a free place in the term AFTER their third birthday. (Term start dates are 1st September, 1st January and 1st April)

Some two year olds may also benefit from a funded place, depending on your income. Please click on the link below to see if you qualify.

Am I eligible for 2yr funding?

If your child does not get any funding you can pay for sessions (please contact us for current fees) and we can also accept a variety of childcare vouchers.

We operate a waiting list and places will be offered to children according to their age - with the oldest child on the list getting priority. Please click on the link below for our application form.
